Update: I started working with Ben over a year ago to search for a home, and we finally found a place! I had very specific requirements, and he patiently worked with me, looking at many houses, proactively sending me specific listings that fit my criteria, and even going to open houses on my behalf when I wasn't available. When friends accompanied me on any home viewings, afterwards they would remark on his knowledge and professionalism, since he would point out things that we wouldn't have considered. I never felt rushed or pressured into buying, he allowed me to take my time. In fact, in one instance, he said flat out "I won't let you buy this place" and pointed out several issues that I hadn't thought of! His knowledge of the various neighbourhoods in lower mainland, and the real estate market in general was extremely helpful. When we finally found the perfect place, he did an amazing job negotiating on my behalf, I still can't believe the deal he got me! I have worked with several very good realtors over the years in different cities and provinces, and Ben is easily the best one I've worked with.
